For some struggling addicts who are unwilling to except help and have convinced themselves that they can stop their alcohol abuse and drug addiction whenever they want it may be necessary for them to experience an intervention.

Kelly Pavlik is preparing to get back in the ring after a hiatus to treat his alcoholism. Pavlik was intervened on by his family after they saw alcohol addiction taking over his life. Pavlik is very early in his recovery and if he is going to maintain his sobriety he is going to have to respect his disease more then he respects the toughest punch he may have to face in the boxing ring.
